Background & History

The Isle of Man Art Society was founded in 1953 with 28 enthusiastic members. We now have 300. This page gives you some idea about the kind of events we organise.

We hold exhibitions at Easter and in the Autumn. Our Easter Exhibition is a well known, and keenly anticipated event on the Isle of Man.

We offer: weekend workshops, summer painting weeks, interesting illustrated talks, silent auctions, social events and life drawing classes

We meet:

• Mondays 1300-1600
• Tuesdays 1900-2100
• Wed 1000-1600
• Thursdays 1900-2100
