To all Members,

The Annual General Meeting was successfully completed on 6th November with an attendance of 46, with Laurence Kermode, President, presiding.

As Laurence had indicated that he wished to stand down, the following changes were confirmed:-

• 1 Mrs Margaret Oates, Previously Vice President, as President.
• 2 Mr David Byrne as Vice President.
• 3 Mr Des Brookes as Chairman, In succession to Mr Peter Oates who has stood down. Peter will remain as a Committee Member.
• 4 Mr Stuart Houghton as Membership Secretary in succession to Mrs Christine Pollard who has stood down.
• 5 Mr Peter Hepworth as a Committee Member in succession to Mr Alan Croll who has stood down.

Those members who have not yet renewed their subscriptions and wish to do so should forward them to Stuart Houghton at 9, Ashlar Drive, Union Mills, IM4 4LJ.

Annual Christmas Party

As previously indicated this will take place at Thie Ellyn on Saturday, 6th December at 7.00 pm for 7.30pm.The catering will again be provided by Mrs. Denise Dale, and the Theme will be America. Themed dress is most welcome and there will be a very few modest prizes. However, smart casual is also very acceptable. Applications for tickets at £14 each should be forwarded to Mrs. Jackie Kelly, Secretary, at 6, Malew St., Castletown, IM9 1AB. and will be dealt with on a first come first served basis.
